A miniature tapestry, about 7 inches tall, made in Kyoto from hand-dyed washi paper and chirimen crepe with touches of gold and silver leaf. Ginkgo leaves, the yellow of a Kyoto November. It hangs from a small wooden stand (sold separately) and turns a shelf or an entrance table into the season.
Part of a series that follows the Japanese year, one small scene at a time. Each piece is hand-made, so placement and colors vary. Boxed.
