We are a company specializing in an online shop that offers Japanese tableware, lifestyle goods, and handcrafted items. Our office is located in Ebisu, Tokyo, but we carefully curate products from all over Japan.

In addition to our selection, we also develop YUWEN original items that blend tradition with modern design. Our mission is to share the beauty of Japanese traditions and craftsmanship with the world, and we strive every day to achieve that goal.

The name YUWEN is written in Japanese as "所以". Its meaning is closely related to “MEANING” and “ORIGIN.” Even the simplest vessel has its own meaning and origin—shaped by tradition, history, and what has been handed down. We hope you can sense not only the object itself, but also the story of why it exists.

We hope that through YUWEN, you can experience the harmony of Japanese tradition and modern aesthetics, and feel a closer connection to Japan in your everyday life.

私たちは日本の食器、雑貨、手作り製品を取り扱うオンラインショップ専門の会社です。会社は東京は恵比寿という都市にありますが、取扱商品は日本全国から選りすぐりの商品をセレクトしています。

またYUWENのオリジナル商品では、伝統とモダンを融合したアイテムの開発も手掛けています。日本の美しい伝統や技術を少しでも世界に広めたい！そう思い日々精進しています。

YUWENは漢字で"所以"と書くのですが、その意味は”意味”や"由来"というニュアンスが近くなります。何気ない器にも、意味、受け継がれた伝統があります。物質のもつ存在だけではなく、その所以も感じていただきたい。その思いを込めて命名しました。

 皆様にも日本の伝統、そしてモダンと融合した世界観がうまく伝わり、日本をより身近に感じていただく機会になれば幸いです。
