Shape three triangular onigiri at once with this Japanese hinoki cypress mold. The set includes the three-cavity mold and a board to support it as you fill and press the rice.
Use it for rice balls to serve at breakfast, pack for lunch or take on a picnic. Both pieces are unfinished wood.
How to use:
Wet the mold and board, and place the mold on the board.
Half-fill each cavity with cooked rice, add your filling, then cover with more rice.
Press the rice into shape, loosen the edges gently with a finger, and lift the mold away.
Wash by hand and dry both pieces thoroughly before storing. Do not use in a microwave or dishwasher.
