Tatami Flower Natural 175mm

This interior piece is made from igusa, the traditional material used in Japanese tatami mats. Known as a natural air purifier, the colorful igusa used here is 100% domestically grown in Japan.

Approximately 360 strands of igusa are bundled together. After securing the center with the included rubber band, you can add a casual twist to create your own unique arrangement. Placing it in a vase for display is also highly recommended.

You can also mix different colors together to create a more dynamic look. Instead of the rubber band, try using a ribbon or mizuhiki (traditional Japanese decorative cord) as an accent — a lovely way to personalize your arrangement.
