Returns & Refunds

Damaged, defective or incorrect items. Email info@yuwen.jp within 14 days of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging. We will send a replacement, or refund you in full if the piece is no longer available. In most cases nothing needs to be sent back.

30-day returns. If a piece isn't right, you may return it within 30 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging, for a refund of the purchase price paid for the returned item(s). Return shipping to Tokyo is at your cost; please email us first so we can send instructions and the return address. Food products and sale items are final sale, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Natural variation. Hand-made ceramics vary slightly from piece to piece. Small differences in glaze, tiny iron spots and minor asymmetry are characteristics of the work and are not treated as defects.

Refund timing. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

This return policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable law.
