ECHIZEN LACQUERED CHOPSTICKS – PERSIMMON RED & GOLD, 22.5 CM (YUWEN)

A pair of Echizen-lacquered chopsticks in warm persimmon red, finished with a band of gold at the hand end. The color is quiet enough for every day and bright enough to lift a celebration table.

Made for us in Sabae, Fukui, the home of Echizen lacquerware, this is a YUWEN original. The body is PBT resin with a urethane lacquer finish, which is why these go in the dishwasher; the octagonal-to-round shaping is done by hand so the tips grip cleanly and feel light in the fingers.

They sit as naturally beside a white dinner plate and a wine glass as beside a rice bowl. Pair with the black and gold version for a couple's set.
