NISHIJIN TABLE RUNNER – GOLD SEIGAIHA WAVES, PINK (KYOTO)

A long Nishijin table runner in a soft peach-pink, woven with gold seigaiha, the overlapping wave pattern that has decorated Japanese tables for centuries. At 240 cm it runs the length of a six- to eight-seat table with a drop at each end.

Woven in Kyoto for FOURGRACE, the waves carry a wish for calm seas and lasting good fortune. The gold thread is worked quietly into the weave, so the runner glows rather than glitters.

Use it for a celebration, a spring table, or under a row of small plates and sake cups. The fabric is delicate and creases easily, so store it rolled rather than folded.
