A platinum-white Nishijin table runner scattered with flecks of gold foil. The tone is a shade warmer than pure white, so it flatters both bright porcelain and dark lacquer set on top of it.
Woven in Kyoto for FOURGRACE, the fabric has the depth of a formal obi with a pattern simple enough for a modern room. Nishijin weaving is Kyoto’s 500-year-old brocade tradition, and this runner comes from one of its working looms.
Use it for New Year, an anniversary dinner, or any table you want to feel a little more considered. The same weave is also available in a cooler white.
Hand wash gently, dry flat in the shade. Store away from heat and humidity.
