A pair of Echizen-lacquered chopsticks in matte black with a band of gold at the hand end. Black is the most versatile chopstick color there is: it disappears into a modern table and reads as formal on a traditional one.
Made for us in Sabae, Fukui, the home of Echizen lacquerware, this is a YUWEN original. PBT resin with a urethane lacquer finish means they are dishwasher safe, and the tapered tips are shaped by hand so they pick up a single grain of rice.
Pair with the persimmon red version for a his-and-hers set, or with our gold-rimmed plates for a New Year table.
