NISHIJIN TABLE RUNNER – SAKURA ON GOLD BRANCHES (KYOTO)

A Nishijin-woven table runner of cherry blossoms on gold branches, laid down the center of the table for a spring dinner or a New Year gathering. Gold thread catches the light as you move around the room, so the table looks different from every seat.
Woven for us by a long-established Nishijin house in Kyoto, this is a FOURGRACE original you will not find elsewhere. Sakura is the classic Japanese motif for renewal and good fortune; in a soft lilac ground it works as well under white porcelain as under gold-rimmed pieces.
Lay it across a dining table or along a console. It pairs naturally with our sakura tableware and gold-accented plates.
